Credit where credit is due....
~Yma is named after a character from stories my dad told my brother and I as kids...the adventures of Yma and Nayrb (our names spelled backwards)
~My blog title is credited to my friend Jeff. It needed to be witty after Abbey came up with the fabulous name for her blog "Blonde Voyage." How could I compete with that? My witty juices run dry when the pressure's on :).
~The idea of following Yma's travel experiences was inspired by her adventures with my dear friends and roommates Susan, Tricia, and Amy when I was gone for a month in college. It's also inspired somewhat by the traveling gnome from the movie Amelie (NOT the Travelocity gnome!!!)
